Universal Mardi Gras always has a super impressive lineup of performers from all different music genres for its concert series. During weekends throughout the celebration, Music Plaza Stage hosts some of radio’s finest bands and artists. See the concert lineup below.

The concerts take place at Studios on Music Plaza Stage (pictured below) at 8:30 pm on select nights of the event.
Crowds can be absolutely nuts for these concerts. Because of this, if you really want an up-close view, you’ll need to line up several hours beforehand. Some people will even spend their entire day in line waiting. Personally, that’s not my ideal theme park day, but your opinion may vary!

Universal Orlando 2022 Mardi Gras Parades & Floats
The theme for this year’s Mardi Gras parade is “Planet Mardi Gras” – an entirely new parade theme that’s inspired six all-new floats. The theme will greatly include rockets, comets, and other out-of-this-world motifs in the popular Mardi Gras parade that uses floats designed and made in New Orleans. Entertainers, performers, and music make this a parade that can’t be missed. It will take place on select dates throughout the Mardi Gras season.
This year the parade will return in full force on select nights of Mardi Gras at Universal Studios. The parade will feature music, lights, and – of – course – beads being thrown from six brand-new and six returning authentic floats drafted and created in New Orleans, the heart of Mardi Gras.
Sizzling Cajun & Creole Food at Universal Mardi Gras
Make your way to the French Quarter Courtyard located in the New York area, loosen up your belt and get ready to try a wide variety of mouthwatering bite-sized Cajun favorites including jambalaya, shrimp gumbo, Andouille sausage, sugary-sweet beignets, and more! All-new experiences are coming to Universal Orlando Resort’s 2019 Mardi Gras celebration. Universal Orlando has confirmed that the Mardi Gras Tasting Lanyard won’t be available this year.
