New Rides at Aquatica – Ray Rush

Ray Rush is a three-in-one thrill ride. It starts with water jetting your raft from “zero to awesome” in just seconds. As you propel into twisting turns, you’ll spin inside a large water sphere. Then your raft will exit into a dive – right into the giant manta wings taking a different path each time.

As with several other new rides at Aquatica, this attraction can be enjoyed by the entire family. The raft can hold several people. For family and friends, this experience will surely create a splash of memories.

Other Rides at Aquatica

While the Dolphin Plunge remains the most popular ride in the water park, you’ll want to try them all. That is if you have the nerve! If it has been a few years since you’ve visited this Orlando waterpark, one of the new rides at Aquatica for you will be Ihu’s Breakaway Falls. It is the steepest multi-drop tower of its kind in Orlando. Afterall, the slide is named after Ihu, Aquatica’s colorful gecko, who searches for the “biggest thrills, steepest hills and the coolest spills in the waterpark.”

The other rides include:

  • Dolphin Plunge – Two side-by-side enclosed tube slides that send you racing through an underwater world of black-and-white Commerson’s Dolphins.
  • HooRoo Run – This 6-story, 250-foot, 7-foot-wide flume takes three riders at a time on a straight shot down — three times!
  • Ihu’s Breakaway Falls – A steep multi-drop tower that’s one wild ride.
  • Omaka Rocka – A water slide in which riders speed down flumes into massive funnels, sliding high up one side and then the other.
  • Ray Rush – Opening Spring 2018
  • Tassie’s Twisters – Lightning fast tubes shoot you into a giant bowl, where you’ll spin, and spin, and spin, until you’re finally spun back out into the lazy river.
  • Taumata Racer – A high-speed competitive mat ride where eight racers rip down a staggeringly steep hill, head first.
  • Walhalla Wave – A 6-story maze of twists, turns, and tunnels which you zoom through before surging back out into daylight.
  • Whanau Way – A quadruple slide tower offering riders four different high-speed experiences.

As you can read, there are no shortages of thrills at Aquatica. However, do note, there are several relaxing pools and sundecks for those of you looking for a restful day. The new rides at Aquatica will keep you streaming back each opportunity you are able. Furthermore, Orlando Ticket Connection will continue to pour out great ticket deals!
