MAGIC KINGDOM: At the Magic Kingdom you know they know how to do fireworks, and they don’t disappoint when it comes to New Years’ Eve celebrations. Disney’s Fantasy in the Sky fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park will be making its glorious return this year
This year, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 AM to 1 AM on December 30 and 31. Best of all, with the park, open late both days, guests can avoid all the craziness on the 31st by only celebrating the occasion one day early from 7 pm – midnight, usually on both December 30 & December 31.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is also currently on the schedule for the day, with presentations at noon and 3:30 PM. To ensure you get the best seats for both, it’s best to get there at least an hour before the show.
EPCOT: Disney has planned Epcot’s “New Year’s Even Countdown Fireworks” to take place in the World Showcase lagoon at 11:54 pm on December 31. Epcot’s midnight fireworks pay tribute to the World Showcase nations. With fireworks shot off above each pavilion to a soundtrack of traditional music and the countdown projected onto Spaceship Earth, it’s an inspiring start to the year.
