Princess Fairytale Hall opens at Fantasyland!!

The highly anticipated Princess Fairytale Hall has finally been opened to Disney Princess Fans! Its vibrantly decorated tournament tent facade can be found in the Castle Courtyard in the middle of Walt Disney’s Fantasyland.

Princess Fairytale Hall is a glorious gift from the king to Cinderella, and a place for her to meet the subjects of Fantasyland. It resembles a magnificent castle, and just inside the stone and stained glass antechamber are several details from the world of Disney princesses including portraits, Cinderella’s glass slipper, ornate stained-glass windows, tapestries and so much more! There are two inner chambers in which Cinderella, and Rapunzel will meet with their guests. A surprise princess is on hand to keep each one company, but you will have to come and visit yourself to see who it is.

As you enter the opulent chamber you see a huge framed painting of a fairytale setting and a table with a set of storybooks that bear the titles of fairytales in the language of the original tale. Rose vases are placed on the far side of each reception room and wallpaper decorated with crowns and other regal images completes the scene. Guests are encouraged to bring cameras to capture the experience but there are also Disney PhotoPass photographers on hand in case you forget.

With the hall’s completion, there’s only one piece left to the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history. That will come to realization in early 2014 with the opening of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster.
