Who would have ever thought that three guys painted blue, never saying one word, using various bizarre instruments to make incredible sounds, would be hyped as one of the best shows around? Here are 5 Reason’s that Blue Man Group-Universal Orlando Rocks!
I had seen the show several years ago and, was astounded by the imagination and creativity that these three, outrageous entertainers were able to bring! So when it was announced that they updated the show in 2012, with a new and exciting performance, I couldn’t wait to see it again! Needless to say I was not let down.
(1). The Blue Man Group show is a one-of-a-kind, amazing performance, that blends art, comedy, rock and roll and technology; and if all that wasn’t enough, the audience was included as part of the show. In fact the funniest segment involved the blue guys ineptly trying to woo a woman picked from the audience at a messy dinner.
(2). Wide screen cameras were used to constantly roam the crowd while the three Blue Men searched for their chosen participants! When they stopped at our row and looked intensely at my guest and myself, we both ignored them; but that made it extremely funny because we were almost chosen!
(3). The use of the enormous ‘GiPads’ (think about giant iPads), was a fantastic, and funny look at how the world communicates now! Stunningly visual, hysterically funny, wildly inventive and interactive, the Blue Man Group will keep the whole family entertained.
(4). Kids will love the color and music, and adults will enjoy the humor and social commentary. Plus, the pulsating new finale features an original Blue Man Group music score that will have you jumping to your feet.
(5). The low-tech visuals are still effective, too: You can’t beat the sight of the guys, furiously drumming, creating an explosion of colored paint raining back down on them. And for those who might find it all too lowbrow, the blue guys do play an interlude of Beethoven’s “Fur Elise.” Of course it’s played on some crazy tube-laden contraption. And it quickly gives way to Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.”
Blue Man Group – which is located between both Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios – adds an entirely new dimension in live entertainment for Universal Orlando theme park guests and Florida residents.
If you choose at the last minute to see the show, the price you will pay at the venue is close to $100 per adult. This is why you should purchase your tickets in advance. Orlando Ticket Connection has Blue Man Group Tickets at incredible low prices!
