The ride offers options: Wild or mild? Going wild is probably OK for most people. Don’t expect high speeds or to travel upside down, even though you’re theoretically at the bottom of the world. And if you’ve had motion-simulator sickness in the past, keep in mind that you won’t be in tight quarters on this SeaWorld Orlando’s Antarctica: Empire of the Penguins ride. There’s room to breathe. We’ve ridden both options and think the mild version is extremely tame.
After the ride is over guests are directed to where the actual penguins are. They are just 10ft away and are playing and swimming behind glass. These wonderful creatures are just out of arms reach and will splash you so watch out and keep those electronics covered.
Summertime will never feel the same again, when you enjoy SeaWorld Orlando’s Antarctica: Empire of the Penguins. This adventure of a lifetime will allow you a wonderful, rarely seen glimpse into one of the most beautiful, inspiring, continents in the world. Antarctica is an experience that most of us will never get a chance to entertain; it is a location that is so immense and unfamiliar, that for SeaWorld Orlando to meticulously recreate it is an amazing feat!!
For visitors to become acclimated with the differences in temperature, they have designed a sophisticated system that pulls the moisture from the air and cools the space. That way when they are finally introduced to the extreme, icy, conditions there will be very little discernment! Beside you will be having so much fun you will probably not even notice!
You will enjoy Antarctica’s Empire of the Penguins by looking through the eyes of Puck the Penguin, as you are taken on an invigorating, one of a kind ride through the largest colony of Penguins outside of Antarctica! Just watching these amazing animals will put a smile on your face and give you memories that you will not soon forget.
Even though penguins look a little awkward on land, when they enter the water, it’s a whole other story! It is here they look like little black and white torpedoes shooting to and fro.
You can also listen them conversing with each other, and it has been said that each species has a different voice! Some squeak, some chatter, you might hear honks and squeals, but whatever it is, the noise is fascinating. They are very curious animals and you might even find them coming right up to you to see what you are all about!
People usually have to travel to faraway places to see such exotic animals in their own surroundings, but SeaWorld Orlando has it, so buy your tickets here!
