Ready, set, play! The all-new Toy Story Land Disney’s Hollywood Studios is coming this summer. It will give guests the sensation of shrinking to the size of a toy as they explore Andy’s backyard and see their favorite Toy Story characters larger than life.All-New Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Whether it’s an exciting ride on a family-friendly coaster, a spin on a toy rocket or a 3D adventure through carnival midway games, guests will be immersed in the playful world of toys.
And along the way, enough fun facts and “didn’t-know-that’s” to fill a toy chest:
• More than 400 toy blocks fill Andy’s backyard. • In Toy Story Land, Andy’s footprint is about 25 feet long or the equivalent of a size 240 shoe. • It would take a Green Army Man roughly 12 steps just to travel the length of one of Andy’s shoeprints. • You would need a backpack the size of a school bus to carry the Buzz and Woody figures that tower over Toy Story Land. • The weight of the Slinky Dog Dash track and support columns weighs almost as much as 125,000 gallons of milk. • Together Rex and the Jenga Tower are as tall as 7½ Green Army Men standing on top of one another.
Your Toy Story pals can’t wait to have you join them. So come on, step into the All-New Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where kids and grown-ups alike can experience all-new adventures. The kind you’ll only find at Walt Disney World beginning June 30, 2018. In the so-much-larger-than-life setting of Andy’s backyard, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the Toy Story gang invite you to take part in the adventure together.ATTRACTIONS

Universal Orlando will take its nighttime lagoon show to the next level this summer, with “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” The all-new lagoon show will give guests a brand-new, awe-inspiring way to end their day in Universal Studios as they enjoy an epic cinema under the stars on select nights.Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration
“Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” will seamlessly blend fountain-based media, a variety of state-of-the-art technologies and special effects in a whole new way. The show combines an all-new storyline with full panoramic water screens accented by additional multi-layer water screens, pyrotechnics and – for the first time ever – more than 120 dancing fountains and projection mapping to transform the entire waterfront and surrounding buildings into a vivid celebration of epic movie moments and beloved characters.
“It’s the biggest nighttime show we’ve ever done at Universal Orlando,” says Mike Aiello, director of entertainment creative for the resort. The presentation will be a total revamp of the park’s previous nighttime lagoon show, “Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular.” Introduced in 2012 during the 100th anniversary of the famed Hollywood movie studio, it was largely a clip-fest honoring Universal’s movie legacy. “We want the new show to be a cap to our guests’ day at Universal Orlando. It will feature many of the characters and brands at the parks,” adds Aiello.
And, guests will be able to enjoy “Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration” from an all-new, dedicated viewing area designed specifically for the show – giving them prime viewing of the experience.
Guests will witness moments from the Harry Potter series conjured by way of spells, ear-shattering roars from dinosaurs in Jurassic World, the adrenaline rush of speed from The Fast & the Furious, mischief by the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me and more come to life right before their very eyes – all in the heart of the Universal Studios Florida lagoon.
This summer, guests will now have two new spectacular nighttime shows to enjoy as part of their visit to Universal’s theme parks – Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration in Universal Studios Florida and “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Orlando Ticket Connection is offering a 3 Day Park to Park Ticket & save over $59 off the gate price.
Star-Lord and Gamora from “Guardians of the Galaxy” will take guests on a musical journey through the cosmos. “Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!” will be the stage at the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot.
“Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!” will be seen five times a day from June 9 through August 19. It is included with theme park admission and is part of Walt Disney World’s lineup of “Incredible Summer” offerings.
While you’re here, stop into the American Adventure at Epcot where you’ll find the giant screen showing. These are inspired by the new Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot Disney World.
At Liberty Inn, a counter service restaurant with lots of indoor seating you’ll find an adorable Groot Sipper Cup that comes with your choice of fountain or frozen beverage and a Rocket Fuel Slushy with frozen Coca-Cola and bourbon. Over at Fife & Drum Tavern, you can sip on an “I am Float” Root Beer with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and mint leaves or the Awesome Mix Slushy with layers of frozen lemonade, blue raspberry, and strawberry. There’s also the chocolate Galaxy Cupcake with buttercream and a white chocolate piece featuring Groot!Guardians of the Galaxy Roller Coaster
At D23 Expo Japan, in February, Disney shared a first look at Epcot’s highly-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster.
With the “Guardians of the Galaxy”-inspired coaster, Disney World is going big. This one-of-a-kind family attraction will be one of the world’s longest enclosed roller coasters when it’s added to Future World at Epcot. It’ll feature a unique story currently being created by Walt Disney Imagineering and include a new innovative ride system that’s guaranteed to “wow” guests.
This attraction is part of Disney’s ongoing work to renovate Epcot into a place that’s more family, more relevant and more timeless.
“As we build upon its core mission of optimism and hope to inspire the world, the real will become fantastic and the fantastic will become real—in whole new ways at Epcot,” Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, said.
The attraction will open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.

Trick ‘r Treat Returns to Halloween Horror Nights as a Terrifying New House. The new house is inspired by the 2007 cult Halloween film Trick ‘r Treat and is coming to Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 28.
Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights Gets Even Creepier
Last year, the annual Halloween event featured characters from the film, including Sam, the villain and pumpkin-like creature, in some of the park’s scare zones. But this year, the cast will return to frighten guests who dare journey through the house, which is designed as a maze, thus Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights Gets Even Creepier.
According to Universal, the new addition to HHN is meant to “teach you the traditions of the holiday as you find out firsthand the consequences of breaking those rules.”
Universal is throwing you head first into the world of this cult Halloween film, and driving you smack dab into the center of the most gruesome scenes and demented characters. These protectors of Halloween will demonstrate the traditions of the holiday as you find out firsthand the consequences of breaking those rules. With monsters around every turn, you need to pay attention…or suffer the ultimate fate.
And then there’s Sam who keeps a watchful eye over it all. He’s the keeper of the rules and the spirit of Halloween. He may look cute on the outside but you don’t want to get on his bad side… or the receiving end of his lollipop.
In the movie, Trick or Treat Sam is revealed to be a demonic pumpkin-like creature who acts as the enforcer for the rules and traditions of Halloween, and is willing to do anything to make sure these rules are honored.
He is depicted as a child dressed in a Halloween costume, which consists of an orange set of pajamas, and a mask made of a burlap sack with buttons for eyes. Sam drags a dirty sack around with him throughout the film, but its contents are unknown, presumably candy (although the blood stains on the sack and the cat screeching when he drags it down the stairs would strongly suggest otherwise). Despite his childlike appearance, it is established that Sam is more demonic than he appears, hiding a pumpkin-shaped head resembling a skull. Dougherty described Sam’s head as a cross “between an embryo and a pumpkin”Universal
